Hi Kimberly,

You totally can and I definitely recommend doing that!! Coloring the frosting is a time consuming part of the process and it’s so nice to get it done ahead of time when possible. The consistency of the frosting stays nice and smooth when stored in a piping bag 🙂 Happy baking!

I see the note that you can make the frosting ahead of time but just wondering if I need to stir it before using, or if I can store in the piping bag. Thanks!
